The league is going to be great in 2021 and hopefully will expand on what was a great 2020 for the league. 2020 started with the league changing Season 22 class which included the largest draft class ever of 270+ players which has then started expansion processes to make the league 14 teams.
The beginning of 2021 for the league will be extremely exciting as the next reddit class will come into effect and will surely have a large impact on the league as all large incoming draft classes do. Expansion will certainly be on the table in 2021 and may potentially occur numerous times throughout the league. Could we be looking at a 20+ team league in the future, it is absolutely possible.
One of the other mammoth changes coming to the league in 2021 is the change of league sim enginges from DDSPF 16 to DDSPF 21 which brings along a range of heavily discussed changes to the league including the visual elements, player positions, player archetypes and more. It will be a learning curve for the most part as players, testers and general managers learn and understand the new sim to generate the best possible outcome for their players and teams.
