Well I think that the easy topic to focus on in predicting what the new year will look like is the new sim. Perhaps nothing will have a bigger effect on the league than that. Overall, I think that the new sim will make the league more enjoyable. Not to mention the improved graphics and UI in the new sim (yayy for finally getting to see the ball move on pass plays, drops, interceptions, etc.), but I think it's really something that we've had such a solid and dedicated team working on balancing the new sim out from the get go. I wasn't here when the league started with DDSPF 16, but I don't think they had such a comprehensive plan of attack. We'll still have growing pains for sure, and one of the greatest will be the inability/difficulty in testing. Testing has always led to figuring out exploits for the good of the league. Without that I think we will be at somewhat of a disadvantage. Optimistically though, from everything i've heard about the new sim, I can't help but to be excited for what 2021 will mean in bringing and keeping new players to our league without having to apologize for antiquated and inaccurate software.
