2021 should be a great new outlook for the ISFL. I’m sure I share this sentiment with a lot of other people, but I’m glad to see the sim finally changing after a lot of, well rather bullshit, decisions that it has made over the past seasons. Will all of those go away in the upcoming sim? Likely not, it is a computer simulation in the end and it will do quirky things. Will it hopefully tone down the weird behaviors and issues, and actually make tight ends viable (totally no bias here)? I’m optimistic. As for the larger draft class, I have a feeling that it will be great for the league, and it offers up the opportunity to maybe have some more expansion a few seasons down the line if the league is healthy enough for it. New faces are what make this league great, and I know that I was part of a larger draft class in Season 21. Many teams in that class got some incredibly talented impact players (unless you’re Norfolk taking a quarterback in that DSFL draft) and many teams are better off now as a result. I’m excited for the future of the ISFL, things are going great and should be for seasons to come.
