We are all excited to turn the calendar to the year 2021. For the league I foresee several positive changes. With the new sim I’ve been told it’s hard to run game to game strategy testing. Since GMs will not have to do this anymore I think it gets a lot of pressure off their plate. It’s a real time commitment trying to figure out how to play against particular opponents. Simplicity is best in this case. With the new sim there will be a lot of uncertainty at first. I know in my case I’m wondering what build I should go with, and how does production by position vary from the DDSPF16 version? I trust our sim transfer team, but there might be a couple things that teams/players exploit early on. Apparently we will be bringing in another NFL reddit draft class. If it’s anywhere close to the size of the s22 class we will have to expand to at least 16 teams, which would be a great number. 8 per conference, 4 playoff teams per conference. These two teams will also mean another expansion draft, which is always a bittersweet occasion. I’ve seen first hand through two expansion drafts how my team lost great talent for the betterment of the league. I’ll take a guess that the ISFL expansion locations will be Madrid and Omaha.
