2021 is looking to kick off with a bang for the ISFL. Exciting changes are underway with the sim move and archetype changes and I for one am most looking forward to the traits being brought into the sim.
I'm hoping this means higher TPE players should be more dominant than the freshly drafted players which at the moment doesn't always happen.
I'm hoping a big change for the league will be diversity in player builds, with a lack of sim testing I have my fingers crossed that we don't all fall into a new "meta" where every QB is built the same and all players bump speed straight away. Diversity is key.
Starting the new sim and the year with a reddit draft class seems like a bold strategy. I can imagine there will be some unforseen snagging issues which may very well put off a large portion of the new crop but that is yet to be seen. I personally would have put off reddit recruitment for another season as it is a large driver for talented people, to allow any kinks to be worked out and to ensure the new sims viability.
Finally I hope the Dallas Birddogs and San Jose Sabercats will come out on top from the sim changes with their fantastic support structure and excellent personell.
