Firstly happy new year to all with the DSFL/ISFL community, I hope you were able to and enjoy bringing an end to 2020 with your nearest and dearest, hopefully 2021 is a better year for us all. Not only are we entering an year but we are also ending an era and starting a new by upgrading our sim for the upcoming season. I for one cannot wait for it! It sounds like it is going to be a massive upgrade across the board but more importantly for me, it is going to highlight cornerbacks stats and abilities more than the current SIM. All we cornerbacks really have to go on is passes defended, interceptions and tackles (not the most relevant of stats for a cornerback). The most notable change for us is we are now going to get a quaryerback rating against us, which will also show how many times we are targetted in a game which I think will be huge. In regards to there being a big draft class coming, that spells to me nothing but carnage! It could be looking like you've picked up an absolute stud of a player only for them to go inactive. If a team wastes an early round pick on once of these guys it really can set the team back a couple of seasons! I cannot wait to watch it unfold. I may be a Homer but I think the team to watch next season is the Berlin Fire Salamanders, we have not had much luck with the current SIM and we have a lot of high/max earners within the team. Expect to see us competing next season for a division title and beyond!
