With the new sim comes new opportunities for some teams to step up into the light that possibly should have gotten there that have not been treated so kindly by the outdated DDSPF 16. In the next sim, there will hopefully be a much more balanced approach to how the sim operates as well as treats those of higher TPE. With that, the two teams that should take a step forward under the new sim would be the Baltimore Hawks and the Berlin Fire Salamanders. The Hawks have had the unfortunate effect of being treated unfair in the realm of receiving luck in the current season with having very reliable wide receivers that cannot seem to catch a wide open pass. The even worse effect from the current sim comes from having the highest TPE quarterback in Chika Fujiwara yet having her play as a mid-tier level player and getting passed by some with many hundreds less TPE. With the new sim, it is possible that the more levelled out strategies will give a boost. The other team that has faced far too much bad luck comes in Berlin who has built up an amazing team that has yet to really play much on that level. They are definitely going to stand out in the future and end up with more to work with in the future sim.
