The year of our lord 2021. A new year. And as every new year, it brings changes. In the ISFL, it brings so many things together. It feels like 2020 all over again. Sim engine change, new draft class, so many recreates, and, let's not forget the season 26 playoffs, in both the majors and the minors. A massive change of landscape. Like how COVID changed our lives, that's how I see 2021 in ISFL. So much instability. So much learning by diving head first into the things. Sim testing is no more, but teams still have to strategize. It will be blind. But isn't that what we want here? Don't we want a league as close to the NFL as possible? From what I have seen, we do. And strategizing like that will bring us one step closer. I see the league expanding at least two, maybe three times, up to a whooping 18 or even 20 teams. The recruitment team has been successful. And another recruitment drive is about to get launched soon, if it hasn't been already. The retention rates are through the roof. We can support a 16 team league with the current player basis. Imagine what will happen if we keep recruiting like that. 20 teams will be too few. I also see the DSFL expanding to 10 teams. Not sure how, or why, but I do. I see the league expanding beyond our comprehension. And yes, I said "expansion", also known as "E-word".
