While I was not a part of the sim transfer team, I am in another sim league as an offensive coordinator that uses draft day sports pro football 2021. I think that there will be growing pains for the league overall, but I think this is for the best in the long run, especially when it comes to the passing game. As it is typically the ISFL is a more run heavy league, we have not seen a crazy air raid offense in the past 5 seasons aside from Sarasota’s S25 campaign led by the MVP Dexter Banks III. However, in my playtime of draft day sports pro football 21 it has been shown that passing can be just as effective, and in some cases more effective than running depending on your scheme and players. I also think when it comes to quarterbacks, we will see a lot more diversity when it comes to build options. Currently with the 79-speed bug turned feature in 16, game manager has taken over the league. 50% of the starters in the current ISFL are game managers. It is not fun to watch, it is not fun to be I assume, and it feels awful to watch someone with 79 speed outrun your 90 speed safeties. I think overall teams will build offenses around a certain style, going deep, west coast, ground and pound, zone runs things of that nature. Where defenses will be more versatile built to deal with different offenses. I am very excited for the move to the new sim, I think it will be great for new and old users alike.
