On the long running debate about Hot Dogs and Whether they are sandwiches

A hotdog is a submarine sandwich. A taco is a taco. Bread is what makes the difference, and a tortilla is what comes on a taco. A sandwich is two slices of bread (or if a submarine sandwich, one slice cut down the middle), typically with meat and other toppings. A hotdog goes in a hotdog bun, is meat, and has toppings. Therefore a hotdog is a sandwich of the submarine family.
