A locker for a football player is much like a construction worker’s truck or an office worker’s desk. Things strewn about. Each one unique. In this case Westfield’s locker is a bright orange colored metal in a row of others. It doesn’t stand out from any of the others with the exception of the interior. Inside you will find many of his personal effects like pictures, clothes, personalized equipment. The first thing that you will notice is that he is a devout family man. There are tons of photos lining the walls of his locker. They show Westfield, his wife, and child on family vacations and some just silly pictures of them together. In the far back of his locker you will find his college and high school jerseys. His blue and white University at Buffalo Bulls jersey and his red and black Westmoore high school jersey. Each showing the wear and tear of a game played and donning the number 5. Last but not least you will also find a photo of Robert Phelps. A good friend of his. Always in some sort of competition. Both are always fighting for the number 1 position on the team and battling for yards and touchdowns. Last year they seemed to make their mark in each category but this year they will battle it out again.
