After being left off of the ballot for best Defensive Tackle despite leading all DTs in sacks, I was a little apprehensive of the new sim. I was certainly nervous that I wouldn’t be as productive on the stat sheet with the new archetype builds. I’m not as fast or as strong in the new sim but I do like the new traits. As far as the team, however, things make a lot more sense in result than the previous sim did. You beat bad teams in your own stadium. Teams you test against at 50/50 are really a tossup. Running backs are something else, through. Records are going to be dropping like flies. The presentation is also really nice. I do miss being able to see the play-by-play feed for much longer. It seems to fly by in the new sim. The fields look spectacular. The three best fields to me are Colorado, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Sponsorship logos, different turf colors, and extra customization are really neat to see during the stream. I also really like the index and can’t wait to have a recreate whose entire career will be recorded on his page, much like the PBE OOTPB sim. So, here’s to a job well done, ISFL. People will never stop complaining about the sim shorting them, but I think this is a nice upgrade.
