Tucked away in the corner, Paul DiMirio's locker is nothing special. It's navy blue like all the others that surround it. His name, as well as his number and position, are printed on top of the locker. Nothing to see here, right?
Actually, yes, right. The inside of the locker is far more interesting. Neatly organized, DiMirio's locker echoes his reputation as a leader in the locker room. At the bottom of his locker lie two pairs of navy blue cleats with four gold stripes and the Liberty logo emblazoned on them. Next to them is a feather in the same color scheme, which DiMirio found in the Locker Room right after his Game MVP performance in the NCAA championship match. He keeps it there as a reminder to stay light and fast on his feet. Pictures of friends and family adorn the walls of the locker, some in various frames, others simply taped to the wall. Among them, is a playbook, conveniently fastened to the wall so DiMirio can refresh his memory whenever he needs. He has taken out the plays and sorted them by the route he runs during that play. Right above the playbook is a picture of Ricky Maddox, just to give him a little reminder of where he needs to be.
