Personally disagree with normal earning costing money, there are a lot of players who are very low key in the league who don't earn a lot of money and already struggle to have enough money for weekly training let alone equipment. I think the theory is fine but it is more likely to punish the low end people of the league than actually make an impact on the top 10 users.
