For this award I am going to go with a player who has done better each season in the ISFL. He is in his third full season in the big leagues, after being called up right after the season twenty five draft. Mark Walker is shooting for the most improved player/breakout player of the year. As of week 10, he is currently sitting in seventeenth in total receiving yards, sixteenth in wide receivers. There is only one player ahead of him with less receptions and another one is tied with fifty four catches. He is currently averaging a hair under fourteen yards per catch and sitting on 752 yards. But where Walker seems to excel, is in his touchdowns, he is currently sitting at sixth most receiving touchdowns in the league with seven. If we look at his stats and consider there are six more games remaining in the season before the playoffs, he should finish with over one thousand yards and could also finish with ten plus touchdowns for the season. This is all on a team with a lot of weapons. He is the number two receiver behind Kai Sakura, and the Wraiths also have a couple of other receiving threats in their tight end Zee Rechs, and their third in line wide out Dre Matthews, who each are sitting on five touchdowns. So even with that competition, Walker is still managing to have a career year. In fantasy production, he is sitting as the ninth best scorer for wide receivers.
There are other great choices out there. But I think it is time Walker gets some credit.
