Borgo San Lorenzo will win Tight End of the Year in the DSFL. He currently leads all Tight Ends in receiving yards with 467 on 50 catches, and he has 2 touchdowns to add on to that. The next closest TE is Shane Benjamin, who only has 318 yards on 39 receptions. San Lorenzo is actually eligible for this award this year, since he’s being supported in Dallas with a standout rookie receiving corps this season, so he doesn’t have to be listed as a wide receiver on the roster. San Lorenzo also has a decently impressive 15 Pancakes with no sacks allowed (only 10 behind the TE leader in pancakes), which sticks out even more when you consider that his main role is a receiving Tight End, so blocking is not one of his strong suits. If San Lorenzo can continue to help Dallas, who are currently 9-1 on the season, perform as well as they are this season, then he would be the best candidate for Tight End of the Year.
The other candidate for an award that I can think of is Chunt the Badger, the rookie Wide Receiver from Dallas who is currently second in the league in receiving yards. The argument can be made for him to win not only Rookie of the Year, but also WR of the year if he continues to perform at this level. He is an integral part of the Dallas offense that has been nigh unstoppable all season.
