Yeah I even tried to steer clear of saying like we have to do it this season, next, etc. My bigger thing is there has to be some type of policy to ensure the money goes to rookies being called up and the biggest hurdle to doing that at least in the absolute status quo is over-saturation of rosters. If rosters become less saturated at any point in the future due to lower creation rates, etc. we solve that problem.
Just right now I don't think a flat raise - which some people are clamoring for - solves any problem besides letting more of the same teams consolidate more talent.
