The decision to expand a league is not one to make lightly. There are a lot of impications and there will be a lot of split opinions on the matter, especially in a league so young. It's not really uncommon to see leagues grow in the first years so it isn't that foreign of a concept but there will always be concerns. The important thing is to not hurt each team's activity due to the expansion and to have expansion rules that will allow the 2 new teams to still be competitive early. As we have seen with the start of Season 2, both expansion teams are struggling a little. both have taken very different paths in building their teams however so it will be interesting to see which method is more successful. The expansion has not affected the Yeti too much activity wise seeing as they managed to pick up a but load of actives in the draft. I suspect that most well managed teams were also not affected much. I am quite concerned with the new proposed expansion with the DSFL seeing as there will be a lot of teams added at once. that said, I'm excited to see the plan HO brings forward for the expansion and I hope they get it right. I think the future of the league depends on it.
