How much do you think the system plays into your success?
Do you think you will finish the season as the lead Wraiths tackler?
Honestly I feel like the type of player I created is just the right build to be successful in the NSFL. I wanted to focus on key attributes that are key for an outside linebacker, such as speed, tackling ability, and pass rushing ability. Although with my current build, I feel like I would be a great fit at safety, maybe an even better fit. Who knows. I don't think the rest of the Yellowknife linebacking core is doing anything wrong, I just believe that I'm performing with a chip on my shoulder, like I need to earn my place on the team as a waiver wire claim.
I think being on a team that runs a 3-4 is very helpful to my success. While it means I might not get as many sacks, it helps me get more tackles, and trying to win a game with poor tackling is nearly impossible. Also, in its current state, I do believe the NSFL is deeper at LB than it is at DT. Plus, we have a great fit at NT in @bovovovo who is a powerful run stuffer up front. While I would be fine playing for a team that runs a 4-3, by personal preference I'd like a 3-4.
Honestly I don't think so. Our team has plenty of talented tacklers, and I think that because I'm not as talented as other players yet, I will get surpassed eventually.
