(S28) PT 3 - What If?

Being the third overall pick in the S28 draft, moving up one or two spots would mean still being a top 5 pick, but that doesn't mean there wouldn't be some differences.  If I had been taken 2nd overall, I would have gone to Bondi Beach instead of London. Tre'Mendus Johnson, who Bondi Beach did take second, is currently leading the league in tackles.  I'd like to think I would have fit into the system in Bondi Beach and excelled quickly as well as he has. If I had been picked 4th overall, I would have gone to the Minnesota Grey Ducks.  This would have kept me in the North and going against the London Royals, but of course that wouldn't mean as much without having gone to London first.  Minnesota selected a quarterback, so likely defensive players weren't in their first round game plan, but I had many good interactions with the folks in the Minnesota locker room and I feel like I would have felt welcome there.  Honestly, being a new create, I would have been happy to go to whatever team picked me, so I dont think it would matter much if I had slipped in the draft order.  As a matter of fact, being selected 3rd overall was quite a surprise.
