(S28) PT 3 - What If?

So, this is one I think is cool and I had a hard time deciding on what I wanted to write about, from GM decisions to my own player’s career to a flip of one score games. Ultimately, I want to talk about myself and on my draft position. Obviously S25 is stacked to the brim with CBs, and I snuck into the final pick in the first round going to SJS. I know a couple of things about the S25 draft but I think the most interesting spot that would send waves would be what if I was taken one pick earlier and went to the NYS? TC was a great call there but the thought of NYS taking me in the first would certainly send ripples around the league. First off, would I have gone to FA? Well with the trade for Steg I would’ve thought about it but would Steg have been traded for. So here’s the scenario I see unfolding, Steg would end up on another contender as I still think he leaves Austin, the only teams at the time I could see having a need at CB would be, the San Jose Sabercats. San Jose at the time was on the outside looking into the playoffs and adding Steg would have been a huge addition, AZ still rocks Unicorn and Crunk at CB and are still solid but NYS gets younger and may not make the playoffs at all in S26. The window opens later for them and that may not be ideal. Do I apply for GM of NYS with Zayn? Do I still end up as TIJ GM? There are a lot of questions in this one I think make it interesting. Overall I’m happy with my career, and if I don’t get to play against NYS I don’t get to bury Daybe twice a year and break the single game PD record.
