In the final PT of Darrel Williams' career, I have to talk about one of the biggest decisions of his career, which was moving from Baltimore to Colorado following the S24 season. This is still a what if I ponder myself, and while honestly, I think either way wouldn't have changed that much, it easily could've allowed the Baltimore Hawks to make the playoffs in S25. They were on the upswing, at least a little bit back then, and they finished 8-8 in the first season without Darrel. The Chicago Butchers were able to take the playoff spot based off of a tiebreaker, but Darrel could've filled Baltimore's hole at running back and taken a bit of the load off of Chika. While it was unlikely they would've won it all that year, like Colorado almost did with Darrel, they still would've been able to make the playoffs one more time before the wheels really fell off. Even if Darrel did stay in Baltimore for the longer haul, he likely would've abandoned the team in similar fashion that has resulted in 26 straight losses for the Hawks. Maybe if Darrel stayed in Baltimore, however, Colorado would've spent their money somewhere else and gotten more value, allowing them to actually win in S25 and bring home another title. It was a big decision, but you could also argue it had little effect on the overall state and structure of the ISFL.
