Looking around the ISFL, the only teams with Nickelback positions open were the San Jose Sabercats and Sarasota Sailfish, so chances are, if I was drafted by anyone else, I would be sent down into the DSFL for another season. That's probably the biggest change. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have playing time in SJS though, but a bit disappointed by my player's performance. I'm hoping to snag at least a couple of interceptions by season's end, but doesn't seem like there's much I can do though aside from max earn and hope for the best.
So I'd probably be down in the DSFL with Tijuana, who are currently struggling a bit, but that's ok. I'd be able to take the CB1 spot left by Buck Nekkid, and be able to try going for some of the awards that were stolen by CJ Sonjack last season.
Due to being a new player and all, it's hard to say what else would be different. I'm sure every locker room is unique in their own way, but I only have Tijuana and San Jose locker rooms as experience. Despite being in other teams' "public" locker rooms, I feel you're getting at most 10% of the experience if you're not part of the team, as everything probably happens in the channels that are only open to roster folks.
