Okay letts try and give ourselves an interesting one here. What if in the season 6 Ultimus game Josh Garden did not drop the game winning touchdown? Now I'm going to have to preface this PT because the fact is the game's outcome was set in stone anyway because it was a resim due to a simmer error and we were going to match the outcome anyway, but instead we're going to pretend like that wasn't the case. Philly's entire team was on a precipice at that moment, it was built heavily on the backs of high TPE inactives and there were a lot of player's burned out and ready to jump ship. If they instead won that game I think what ends up happening is Philly experiences a resurgence the following season and comes back even stronger, I don't think they end up beating the 13-1 wraiths in S7 so the championship they won would go back to the Wraiths. After that I think Philly makes a big play for S8 and S9 as well but with NOLA looming on the horizon and Oles tired of QB they start looking to rebuild for the future. At that point in S8 they trade Oles for Boss and with Oles on the Otters they decide to challenge those elite NOLA teams in the S8-S10 area and push for another championship, having missed out on their 3rd one after losing to philly. The Otters ultimately fail to unseat NOLA/BAL during those seasons and end up actually losing ground in the future with Showbiz never becoming a thing. Without that tthe Otters are struggling through S12-S14 and end up missing another Ultimus or 2 and only have 2 under their belt by the time they draft Armstrong.
