Picture this: clock is ticking, moments away from the 14th pick of the Season 28 ISFL Draft being announced. Anticipation is growing. The reigning Ultimus champs, the Sarasota Sailfish, have been waiting patiently to announce their pick. However, with a last minute trade, the Baltimore Hawks swoop in to take the pick for themselves in a remarkable move. Thunder strikes, music plays from the sky, the Baltimore Hawks select no one else besides the iconic Chunt The Badger. While this was a very true and accurate depiction of the selection of the league’s favorite badger, that does not necessarily answer the PT of this week being “What if?” This prompted me to question what would have happened if the Hawks never were able to trade with the Sailfish to acquire me? I assume Sarasota would have selected me, or at least I hope they would have in order to remain a first rounder. I do believe Chunt would have been a content Badger playing for the sailfish. The scouting talks were nice but there would always be a longing for Baltimore. There is something so irresistibly sexy about the wings of a hawk, ready to swoop up the Badger to his doting home.
