Maui Waialiki received a call after his last game of S27 that the high school he went to in Hawaii was in trouble and needed some help. The program had fell apart in the seasons after Maui left, and went from champions to losers. The problem was mostly in the trenches, as the school lacked heavy playmakers up front to do any serious damage on both sides of the ball. So Maui, naturally, agreed to fly out there and hopefully inject some spirit back into these kids. It was rare to see a Hawaiian player make it to the ISFL, but to see one go in the first round, that was inspiring to many of these kids, and Maui became somewhat of a hero for many of these young athletes. When Maui visited his old high school, he started the training regiment and opened a summer camp for everyone in the high school. The camp was a success, gaining national attention and the headlines of many sports journals. Maui loved it so much he decided to make it a recurring event, and he will return this offseason to hold another summer camp, and teach younger kids about football also. He wants to open it up to more skill positions, and maybe also get some of his teammates to come with him and make this summer camp a premier training organization.
