Bold Prediction: John Canton, the almost bottom ranked corner from Season 1 will become the top ranked corner back for season 2.

John Canton finished his first season near the bottom of the barrel. He had allowed over 350 yards, several touchdowns, 49 total tackles, 8 passes defensed, and 1 interception. His one upside to the season was that he had forced 2 fumbles and recovered 1 of them. The only corner backs who performed worse were backups and dime backs.

BUT he appears to be on the upswing, and his performances have been quite noticeable. After only 5 games, he currently leads the NSFL in passes defensed with 12, is tied for the 2nd most interceptions among corners with 2, and is one of only 2 corners with a defensive touchdown. Not to mention 23 tackles. He is on pace for 5 interceptions, 33 passes defensed, and 64 tackles. Compared to last year, that would put him at 1st in interceptions in the league, 1st in passes defensed in the league, and 2nd in tackles among corner backs (5th among all defensive backs).

Canton seems to be on a revenge tour of the NSFL to find all the haters and slam the ball back in their faces. I'm all aboard the Canton Hype Train that's headed straight for the top.
