If I was not a Professional Football Kicker, I know without a doubt that I would be a teacher instead. I even completed my degree before being drafted to the ISFL. I am also a New Zealand native, so I primarily volunteer and donate to New Zealand based charities like the Child Poverty Action Group, which works to stop child poverty in New Zealand, but the two Charities that I spend the most time with are Digital Future and Teach First NZ (Ako Mātātupu). These two charities are focused on teachers, students, and school which I feel are big stepping stones in a better society. Digital Future teaches students computer-based education and coding bringing students into the modern world, and Teach First NZ, which works to bring in new teachers into the profession to teach students in need. I will become a teacher after my career in the ISFL ends. And even though I can't be in New Zealand all the time, I work with the Sailfish organization that goes to local food banks to pass out food to those in need in the local Florida area, and has other charitable actions like clothing drives and visiting local schools. It is great that the team makes us spend some of our time giving back because giving back is just as important as what we put out on the Field.
