David Ramczyk is a major voice in mental health awareness. Mental health effects everyone in one way or another so Ramczyk was excited to be able to work with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The Lifeline Is a organization that focuses on suicide prevention and awareness. Lifeline has crisis centers all across american and even have a phone number anybody can call if they need help. Ramczyk decided he would partner up with this organization because they do such a fantastic job, and it is such a good cause. People tend to overlook mental health issues in athletes and Ramczyk wants to make sure to get his voice out their to help spread awareness. First Ramczyk would start by giving a donation of his own money and help start a fundraiser for the cause. Ramczyk would also visit some of these crisis centers and thank the heroes of it all the crisis center counselors. Without these people many people would have no one there to talk to or for someone to be there for them. Ramczyk would give a talk at a convention for Lifeline about his own experiences with mental health and different ways people are able to break the stigma about talking about metal health and break the stigma on athletes with mental health.
