(S28) PT 5 - Helping Out

My player doesn’t really care about many charitable causes, but when he had the tax implications of charitable status explained to him, he quickly instructed his accountant to set up the Tayshawn Crunk Foundation.

A number of causes were quickly shot down, including a program to provide weapons to prisoners to allow them their second amendment rights, and one to deploy barbers to poorer areas to “wipe out yee yee aas haircuts one and for all”.

The cause they eventually settled on, and that got the backing of the Outlaws organisation, was to provide musical equipment to inner city schools.

Crunk drove around in the van making the first deliveries of drum machines and bass guitars, instruments he selected himself to encourage old school hip hop and funk in modern youth. He declined multiple requests to rap (he can’t) and play the guitar (he doesn’t).

As he was helping deliver the final box of drum machines to the last school, a kid in an Outlaws hoodie came up to him.

“Yo Crunk, you think you’ll win it all this season?”
- “Yup.”
“Why’d you say that?”
- “Coz I’m really good.”
“If you’re so good, why did the Outlaws sign Rich Triplet?”

Crunk sighed and handed over the delivery. He really hates kids.
