Alright time to ruffle some feathers.


If any team offered me some absurd amount of money to go play for them... I would immediately turn it down because of two reasons.

1.) This isn't real money, and you can earn plenty if you try.

2.) If the leadership is going to do something so silly as blow a massive amount of their budget on one player, what other bad decisions will they make? Why would I want to play for a team that is making bad decisions for the team even if my only benefit is getting to be lazy with articles/graphics?

Legion traded for tons of players that they thought would be good enough... it's not.

They over paid for a QB that they thought would be good enough... He's not.

They definitely have some talent on their roster, but with so many glaring holes ... it's going to be rough.

I honestly feel bad for this team and the players. I feel like it will take more than one season to fix these issues. I don't think the leadership should be lynched or anything, they had a strategy and they executed it well... it's just their strategy wasn't very good in hindsight.

1) Or I can sign a big contract and not have to spend as much time on here trying to earn money. I've been doing sim leagues for 13 years, I don't feel the need to write 1,000 word articles every week- nor do I have the time to do so. So I sign a big contract.

2) Okay man, it's one thing if they were to blow money on someone and destroy their cap, but they didn't do that. I was given what was left of the budget, I told HFFO to let me know what he had left AFTER he had signed everyone else. Let's also take into consideration my contract goes down the next two seasons and it's really not that expensive. So you're off base on that point.


And you said it yourself, they had a strategy and executed well...and in HINDSIGHT, being the key term here, it's not looking so hot. Mistakes were made, yes, but I still have faith in HFFO and I am still committed to being the franchise quarterback.
