Not meant to be criticism towards anyone specific as I can understand why, but since we're complaining about awards, I do want to add that GMs need to not be allowed to vote for themselves as GM of the year. It's crazy how many times a GM voting for themselves allowed them to win the award or completely mess up the voting process. GM of the year should never be an award to pat yourself on the back with, as in my opinion, a GM of the year would never need to boast or do anything to say that they're the best GM - They just are. That's why it should be those who recognize that outside of the team that get to decide if it's a season worth recognizing.
