New Orleans has had a lot of highly impactful players in our team's history. Without going too far back, I would say a statue should be erected of future Hall of Fame RB Tom Hanks. When you look at what he was able to accomplish in his time in the league, few if any players in NOLA's history compare. At his peak, he was the best running back and special teams player in the league. In the twilight years of his career, he still helped lead the team to the playoffs and further Ultimus appearances. When it comes to what type of statue should be put up in his honor, there are a few potential options to go with. Though it was his college days and not in his time with NOLA, it would be pretty hilarious if the statue was of him running into the tunnel after returning a kick for a touchdown. It immortalizes one of the best moments in his history while also alluding to his prowess as a return specialist. I think a more meaningful and classic one would be of Tom in either a running or stiff arm pose with "Run, Forrest, Run" captioned below. It would be amazing if DDSP ever takes stadium creation to another level. Having more detail is always a plus and would further add to team and league history.
