With my short tenure in the ISFL there is a great list of people who have provided a great impact on my experience. Outside the stats on the field I believe that the culture of the teams are very important to create the ideal locker room and experience. So my pitch for the Greyduck statue will be a little off course with some of the others you might see. First off every great statue has their leader on a horse, their transportation into battle. Greyducks? They have a bus. Driving the bus? Well, Senor Russ of course with co-pilot Crodyman. With them being the GMs as I was drafted and their leadership in the locker room this was a no brainer.
Luckily the bus has plenty of room because a lot of great people have made this experience worthwhile. Going into the S28 draft I was scouted by Gragg and he was extremely helpful getting my footing going into the draft and the start of my career.
The last duck on the bus for me is Painted. Painted was extremely welcoming when I joined the team. Painted also was a big part in the recreation and redesigns I created for the DSFL fields.
I look forward to seeing where this bus ends up. I hope in the near future there is an Ultimini Trophy that sits on the hood of the bus!
