(S29) PT 4 - Statues

Honolulu doesn't have too much history to look back at yet, but when considering members for statues, some of the original builders of the franchise came to mind. Unfortunately the group looks to be deciding to go with a player instead, as the builders haven't been able to achieve great success in the post season so far. Some of these players came up and were shot down for various reasons - their time was good, but too short of a life, they flamed out after having high hopes, or they just were mediocre.

Until one man came up in discussion? What about Ragnar?

What about myself? Well after-all why not myself? Let's break down some of the criteria:
I wasn't a high (not even first round!) draft pick, so there is no real worry about under preforming, and if I flamed out it would not have been a huge blow. striking hot after the second round is always nice, and with this pick they landed a career Tight End, some stability on the offensive flanks who can hit with the best of the linemen, and catch with the best of the receivers. A player who was better than mediocre, constantly among the top 10 in the position (shh, don't read into that) in the league, and Honolulu's best hands down Tight End they have had to date. An iconic man, and iconic hair are going to look good bronzed.
