The statue we have to add to the Dallas Birddogs stadium is one of the former star running back for the Dallas Birddogs Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms. Sirdsvaldis dominated the DSFL running scene in S27, running all over the south division as Dallas easily cruised towards an 11-3 record. While Dallas then played two incredibly close and exciting playoff games, Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms was right there being a workhorse and helping the team out when needed. While he didn't have the flashiest stats as Joilet did, Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms could still easily be seen as a key contributor towards this squad, as DSFL running backs can many times determine the champion of the DSFL, and Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms definitely did that in S27. That season, he racked up a massive fifteen touchdowns, over 1200 yards, and carried the rock over 300 times in just fourteen short games. The workload Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms carried was extremely impressive and deserves to be commended, along with the rest of the amazing champions back from that storybook season. Hopefully Dallas can be impressive again and continue to dominate the league. Their 7-3 start has turned plenty of heads in the DSFL landscape, and they seem destined to return to the playoffs for the first time since that S27 championship run. Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms was plenty important throughout their playoff run, and it will be interesting to see what the Birddogs can do this season.
