Your team has designated an area outside the stadium for a new statue but are struggling to confirm which candidate from their shortlist is deserving of such an honor. Which figure from your team, past or present, do you believe is worthy of being immortalized? What led to you choosing them?
I think there are a ton of Philadelphia Liberty players that are deserving of the honor to have a statue built outside the stadium. Currently, since I am newer to the league and am not as aware of the illustrious history of the Liberty, but there are plenty of players on the team right now deserving of that same honor, despite not retiring yet. Jimi Desoto is my current favorite for the honor. My reasoning is that he has been a captain for several years running, he's been part of the Liberty through thick and thin and BLEEDS red, white, and blue. If his career ends with an Ultimus trophy to end a terrific career then he should get that statue, and a spot in the International Sim Football League Hall of Fame. I've been lucky to have such a great leader and locker room personality as a teammate, and he's clearly made enough of an impact on the team that he should be immortalized at the Taco Bell Stadium. I think there are plenty of other players on the team that have the potential of earning that honor (If Xavier Walls continues to improve and play how he has his rookie season, he should be in the same boat!), but if I had to pick someone right now, it's Jimi Desoto.
