I don’t know much about the history of the London Royals or the DSFL in general. I also think that if this is a developmental league where players only stay for a couple of seasons, I don’t know how there could be a player that deserves a statue for a single team. Most college teams have statues for legendary coaches, but I don’t know of any that build statues of players. At least not any that are only known for their time at the school. So I guess I’d have to choose a current player for the London Royals to get a statue.
It might be a bit selfish, but I think that from an aesthetic standpoint, Kiara Tenoh would be the best because she’s a phoenix! Although, I guess that would mean she’d be a good statue for a team like the Baltimore Hawks. But I’ve always thought that the best players to make into statues are quarterbacks and running backs because they have such iconic poses. So Kiara Tenoh making a Heisman pose with a halo of flames around her would be really cool. Maybe they could even have real flames! Like an eternal flame type statue.
But first, Kiara would need to earn that statue by playing well this season.
