As many Pro Bowls as this guy has made he had a career record of 55-50. But he does have the passing records for Baltimore so he is the choice. This is a bit of evidence of some of the struggles Baltimore has faced however.

Blocksdale was Hawks QB for two of the best seasons they've ever had (9 & 10) across which he would have had a record of 24-4 not counting playoffs. To have an overall record of 55-50, he would have had to have at least two, maybe three, losing seasons outside of those. But he didn't have any at all as QB. Season 13 was the first losing season the Hawks had after season 1 (immediately after which they had two great seasons again) and by then, Blocksdale wasn't starting under center.
Trust me when I say the struggles for that team are very much a recent phenomenon. Not counting season one. We don't talk about season one.
