The Philadelphia Liberty have not had much success in their long history in the International Simulation Football League. Even though the team has not seen a ton of success there have been a few players who have had excellent careers playing for the Liberty.
I think the Liberty would be apt to choose a duo to be immortalized together. This would be two recently retired Liberty players and the couple of bright stars through a turmoil time in Liberty team history.
Brock Phoenix the former Quarterback of the Liberty was a great player who led a down and trodden team for his entire career and just could not quite get over the hump to win an Ultimus. He is a legend in the Philadelphia locker room and has his number 9 retired by the Liberty.
Joining Phoenix in the statue would be recently retired Running Back Sam Torenson. Torenson was a force on offense in the league. He currently holds the record for most rushing yards by a Running Back and he deserves to be honored with a statue in front of the Liberty stadium and hopefully in a few seasons his bust will be added to the ISFL Hall of Fame.
