The statue that should be built is easy for the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Even though he did not play for the specific team, he played for their predecessor, the San Antonio Marshals. Fast Boija is the very obvious choice in the matter, he is easily the best DSFL running back ever, amassing stats and records that will never be broken even in a 16 game season. This man was the definition of dominant, he did not struggle at all in his pinnacle season, and his entire DSFL career is one that most running backs hope they’ will do half as well as. He was as dominant of a player as they come for the Marshals, leading a season that no one expected and seeing a team control games and dominate teams by handing it off endlessly. If Fast Boija does not get a statue outside of the Grey Ducks stadium, something is truly wrong, as no player is more deserving and no player, ISFL or DSFL, has had as dominant of a season rushing as he has. Everyone strives to dominate teams like that, and he did it as if it was nothing but a Sunday stroll, so he is clearly the most deserving candidate for a statue in Minnesota. (210 words)
