My bold prediction for the remainder of Season 2 is that Bailey Cook leads all receivers in touchdowns. Cook was simply electric last year, breaking the 1000 receiving-yard barrier en route to a season that placed him in the upper echelon of the league's receivers. Despite that excellent resume, there was one glaring hole. Bailey only found the end zone four times, fine for a mid-tier receiver but certainly not one of his caliber. But through the first seven games of this season. He's tops in the league in touchdowns with six, riding the hottest streak of quarterback Ethan Hunt's career. While it's possible that Ethan Hunt may regress a little bit as he cools off, a trend that looks like it may already be beginning. But even with a possible regression coming, I still predict that Bailey Cook will continue to post astounding touchdown totals as the season goes on. Shane Weston has continued to develop, taking pressure off of Cook as teams are no longer to bracket him. Considering the defensive struggles of the Cats, the team will have to hope they keep winning shout-outs if they intend to make the playoffs. As a Sabercat, here's too hoping.
