Round 6, Pick 71: The New York Silverbacks select...Buster Bawlls, RB, Portland Pythons. User: Rydo29Aird13
TPE at time of draft: 196
TPE at time of writing: 793, 47th in the class, 2nd among RBs
Stats in S29: 42 Pancakes, 0 Sacks Allowed
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 73, 2 spot improvement
Buster Bawlls has been consistently one of the top Fullbacks in the league since the Sim switch. Even at a position that doesn't require all that much TPE, though, Buster Bawlls has earned more than enough for the position, being a genuine steal, even if you don't need all that TPE. The Fullback of the year for S28, and I believe for S27 as well, Bawlls starts off our 6th round with quite a genuine hit.
Round 6, Pick 72: The Berlin Fire Salamanders select...Gavin Leclerc, CB, London Royals. User: Gav
TPE at time of draft: 106
TPE at time of writing: 146, 72nd and worst in the class, 17th and worst among CBs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 93, 21 spot improvement
There's not that much special about Gavin. I never knew him, he wasn't all that important of a miss, but he does have one special thing to his name. He is the lowest TPE player from S25 that is still on the TPE tracker. I'm actually not sure why considering that plenty of other people who last updated in November aren't on the tracker.
Round 6, Pick 73: The Philadelphia Liberty select...Brent Silva, DT (has since swapped to OL), London Royals. User: Brentmeister69
TPE at time of draft: 144
TPE at time of writing: 610, 56th in the class, 8th among OLs
Stats in S29: 82 Pancakes, 1 Sack Allowed
DSFL Draft Position: Undrafted, Waiver Pickup
Current Team: Arizona Outlaws
Silva, despite having earned extremely well and consistently for a pick this late in the draft, still isn't a full on hit for the Liberty, as they let him get away for nothing in free agency in the end. Silva has since been a consistent member of the Outlaws Oline, and as a pick goes is a definite hit, getting over 600 TPE at the start of the 6th round.
Round 6, Pick 74: The Colorado Yeti select...Anders Christiansen, RB, Portland Pythons. User: Bluesfan55
TPE at time of draft: 144
TPE at time of writing: 665, 55th in the class, 4th among RBs
Stats in S29: 895 Rushing Yards, 4.4 ypc, 7 TDs
DSFL Draft Position: Undrafted, Waiver Pickup
Current Team: Philadelphia Liberty
Christiansen has had quite a career, I believe he took snaps at RB2 for both the Colorado Yeti and the Philadelphia Liberty, I believe he is actually the current RB1 for the Liberty. While normally I'd say that a serviceable guy going to someone else for nothing is a bit of a waste, if my memory is correct the Yeti did get some out of Christiansen before that point. Not at all bad for a guy this late in the draft, whichever team you count him towards.
Round 6, Pick 75: The Chicago Butchers select...Duncan Donuts, OL, Dallas Birddogs. User: DunkinDuncan
TPE at time of draft: 93
TPE at time of writing: 141, would be 73rd and worst in the class, 12th and worst among OLs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 86, 11 spot improvement
At this point there's not much to say about the clear and total busts except it gets REALLY WEIRD determining why some of these guys are on the TPE tracker and some of these guys aren't. This guy last updated in December, and then did the Sim swap, and yet he's not on for some reason. The Butchers got nothing out of this pick, although that's not that big of a deal in the 6th round.
Round 6, Pick 76: The Austin Copperheads select...Owen Isaac, DE (has since swapped to DT), Tijuana Luchadores. User: Oji3001
TPE at time of draft: 133
TPE at time of writing: 669, 54th in the class, 4th and worst among DTs
Stats in S29: 11 TFLs, 4 Sacks, 1 FF/0FR
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 60, 16 spot fall
It turns out that Owen Isaac is still hanging around, still earning, and is still active. So far the 6th round has been filled with more actives than inactives, which is extremely surprising. That being said, we're coming up on the end of the piece, as at this point most of the players left were inactive even at the time of the pick, so getting anyone, especially a decent mid earner, is wonderful.
Round 6, Pick 77: The Honolulu Hahalua select...Matt Peterson, QB, Minnesota Grey Ducks. User: Peterson
TPE at time of draft: 152
TPE at time of writing: Would be 306, 70th in the class, 2nd and worst among QBs
Stats in S29: None, Retired
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 26, 51 spot fall
Peterson is a long time user who was around back in season 1. That being said, he hasn't had a single successful career in the ISFL for multiple years now. He went inactive, retired, recreated, and then went inactive again with his new player in the time since the draft. This was waste of a pick that was always likely to be a waste. I didn't realize just how high he went in the DSFL draft, which is surprising considering he was a Mr Irrelevant on his next create.
Round 6, Pick 78: The Berlin Fire Salamanders select...Lebby Newton, WR, Minnesota Grey Ducks. User: Newty
TPE at time of draft: 111
TPE at time of writing: 160, would be 71st in the class, 7th and worst among WRs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 90, 12 spot improvement
Newton did one large update right after the draft at the beginning of October, and then never updated again. He did actually do a number of tasks, a lot of predictions, the S26 mock draft, but he never cashed them in and has not logged in since late November. This one I understand why it didn't go on the TPE tracker, he's not even updated for the new sim.
Round 6, Pick 79: The Chicago Butchers select...Clay Clark, CB, Kansas City Coyotes. User: Richard_hooklip
TPE at time of draft: 88
TPE at time of writing: 160, would be 73rd and worst in class, 18th and worst among CBs
Stats in S29: None, Retired
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 71, 8 spot fall
Side note, if you want to just have your eyes glaze over as you look at a sea of red text, just go to Clay Clark's update page. I feel for you, Southpaw. Anyways, Clark surprisingly updated a lot for someone this late in the draft. That being said, he earned almost nothing in his first DSFL season, so even if he almost doubled it his total TPE total wasn't that great. His last update was in late October, and he formally retired in early February.
Round 6, Pick 80: The New York Silverbacks select...Marlon Alexander, OL, London Royals. User: Platanocat
TPE at time of draft: 151
TPE at time of writing: 929, 38th in the class, 2nd among OLs
Stats in S29: 64 Pancakes, 0 Sacks Allowed
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 21, 59 spot fall
And here it is, the other big candidate for largest steal of the draft. Plat was the big other guy in the London Locker room pre-DSFL draft, I believe he talked more there than anyone else did. That being said, as the season went on he got less and less active and was on the verge of inactivity going into the ISFL draft, which is why he fell so far in the draft. The Silverbacks took an extremely late flier on him, got him back active, and now he's one of the top earning OL of the class. This was a masterful pick from the Silverbacks.
Round 6, Pick 81: The Austin Copperheads select...Leo Bloomfield, K/P, Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. User: BloomeyGB
TPE at time of draft: 128
TPE at time of writing: 355, 66th in the class, 2nd and worst among K/Ps
Stats in S29: 88 FG%, 44.4 average punt
DSFL Draft Position
ick 91, 10 spot improvement
Once more, at this point in the draft you're really happy to just get anyone who will contribute for you, and while Bloomfield wasn't exactly a top earning kicker, he wasn't the worst either, not by a long shot. While he is retiring this season, I don't think any Copperhead is going to be disappointed in this pick and how it turned out.
Round 6, Pick 82: The Sarasota Sailfish select...Elijah Torres, CB (has since swapped to RB), Portland Pythons. User: Toasty
TPE at time of draft: 90
TPE at time of writing: 245, 70th in the class, 10th among RBs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent/Retired
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 81, 1 spot fall
Torres didn't earn much, but didn't go inactive either. He ended up heading to the Silverbacks, probably in Free Agency as I can't find a trade between the two with him involved, and played for them during Season 28; I recognize the name. He got let go in Season 29, and retired just this month, recreating for the S31 season.
Round 6, Pick 83: The Colorado Yeti select...Jake Sackson, DE, Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. User: GoodvsEvil1275
TPE at time of draft: 97
TPE at time of writing: 97, would be 73rd and worst in the class, 8th and worst among DEs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 59, 24 spot fall
One of the few really dumb sack pun names that was active enough to make it to the ISFL, Jake Sackson did one large update on the 1st of August last year, and then never updated again. I never knew his user, and he appears to have never even visited the site since...before that post somehow? It says the last time he visited was on July 23rd 2020, and yet he posted after that multiple times. Huh. Weird glitch.
Round 6, Pick 84: The San Jose Sabercats select...Matty Martinsson, LB, Portland Pythons. User: Slinny92
TPE at time of draft: 97
TPE at time of writing: 217, would be 72nd in the class, 7th and worst among LBs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 89, 5 spot improvement
Like Torres, Martinsson continued to update, although not much at all. His last update was in November, which did at least push him above the lowest TPE member of S25 that is currently on the TPE tracker. He last visited the site at the end of January this year. This ends the 6th round, and at this point there's very little left.
Round 7, Pick 85: The Berlin Fire Salamanders select...Caleb Judge, LB, Kansas City Coyotes. User: TheBlanken
TPE at time of draft: 100
TPE at time of writing: 126, would be 73rd and worst in the class, 7th and worst among LBs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 79, 6 spot fall
We're at the point where pretty much everyone here was considered inactive. Despite that, the Salamanders or the Coyotes were able to get Blanken back to do one full final update halfway through October. His last visit to the site was in November.
Round 7, Pick 86: The New York Silverbacks select...Joe Show, TE, London Royals. User: JGuy
TPE at time of draft: 136
TPE at time of writing: 136, would be 73rd and worst in class, 3rd and worst among TEs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 53, 33 spot fall
Joe Show was a true inactive, last updating long before the draft went live on September 9th, last visiting on September 14th, and with very little chance for him to come back.
Round 7, Pick 87: The Philadelphia Liberty select...Brian Nelson, S, Norfolk Seawolves. User: Bengroseclose
TPE at time of draft: 97
TPE at time of writing: 153, would be 73rd and worst in class, 6th and worst among S
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 112, 25 spot improvement
Nelson actually had multiple updates between the time he was drafted and the time he stopped. He last updated in the middle of October, but actually continued to do predictions and even a weekly training after that. His last visit to the site was at the start of November.
Round 7, Pick 88: The Baltimore Hawks select...Noah Akerele, WR, Minnesota Grey Ducks. User: InciteHysteria
TPE at time of draft: 138
TPE at time of writing: 138, would be 73rd and worst in class, 7th and worst among WRs
Stats in S29: None, Retired
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 66, 22 spot fall
Akerele never updated after the middle of August, before the draft, and formally retired in early November. He would then recreate in S29, getting even less TPE, and then retiring again in the middle of June.
Round 7, Pick 89: The Yellowknife Wraiths select...Alexander Johnson, WR, Norfolk Seawolves. User: Kingtag1999
TPE at time of draft: 85
TPE at time of writing: 115, would be 73rd and worst in class, 7th and worst among WRs
Stats in S29: None, Retired
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 96, 7 spot improvement
Alexander Johnson last updated in the middle of October, before retiring due to real life complications in early November. Side note, all of the people making the exact same dick joke with players that would retire very shortly after creation made this guy a bit harder to find than the rest of the bunch.
Round 7, Pick 90: The Austin Copperheads select...Smitty McGhee, OL, Dallas Birddogs. User: Nowordofalie
TPE at time of draft: 95
TPE at time of writing: 102, would be 73rd and worst in class, 12th and worst among OLs
Stats in S29: None, Currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 110, 15 spot improvement
McGhee had one single update post the draft date, which actually took place before the draft went live, and last visited the site in late September of last year. At this point, I'm thinking, do I really need to go through the rest of the class, and I decided that I will go until the end of this round.
Round 7, Pick 91: The Honolulu Hahalua select...Curtis Blackshear, CB, Minnesota Grey Ducks. User: Sovietseph
TPE at time of draft: 77
TPE at time of writing: 77, would be 73rd and worst in class, 18th and worst among CBs
Stats in S29: None, Currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 37, 54 spot fall
Blackshear never updated past early August and never even visited the site past late August.
Round 7, Pick 92: The Arizona Outlaws select...Ben Anabender, CB, Portland Pythons. User: DNeon
TPE at time of draft: 196
TPE at time of writing: 196, would be 73rd and worst in class, 18th and worst among CBs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 49, 43 spot fall
Ben Anabender was an extremely good earner, and DNeon was an extremely nice user in the Pythons Locker Room, but then he had to go inactive for real life reasons. He last updated in early September, and last visited the site in late November.
Round 7, Pick 93: The Chicago Butchers select...Crayne Whebet, WR, Kansas City Coyotes. User: Montegue
TPE at time of draft: 134
TPE at time of writing: 134, would be 73rd and worst in class, 7th and worst among WRs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 63, 30 pick fall
Whebet never updated past the middle of August, and last visited the site in early September
Round 7, Pick 94: The New Orleans Second Line select...Henry Grant, DE, Norfolk Seawolves. User: Egglton
TPE at time of draft: 67
TPE at time of writing: 67, would be 73rd and worst in class, 8th and worst among DEs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 88, 6 pick fall
Grant only updated once in his career, right at the end of July, and never visited past the beginning of September. A clear inactive.
Round 7, Pick 95: The Orange County Otters select...Bulldog Willard, WR, Dallas Birddogs. User: BJ_Owns
TPE at time of draft: 50
TPE at time of writing: 79, would be 73rd and worst in class, 7th and worst among WRs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Undrafted, Waiver Pickup
Willard also only updated once in his career, but did so actually post the draft, on September 26th. He last visited the site in the middle of October.
Round 7, Pick 96: The Sarasota Sailfish select...Willy Weasel, WR, Minnesota Grey Ducks. User: Weasel07
TPE at time of draft: 89
TPE at time of writing: 89, would be 73rd and worst in class, 7th and worst among WRs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 98, 2 pick improvement
Weasel did not update since the middle of August, and has not visited the site since the middle of August either.
Round 7, Pick 97: The Colorado Yeti select...Lukas Hinsetzen, CB, Minnesota Grey Ducks. User: SPK
TPE at time of draft: 59
TPE at time of writing: 59, would be 73rd and worst in class, 18th and worst among CBs
Stats in S29: None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 106, 9 pick improvement
Lukas only updated once, in early August. He left the site for good only 3 days after his one and only update post.
Round 7, Pick 98: The San Jose Sabercats select... T. J. Evans, WR, Portland Pythons. User: Southie
TPE at time of draft: 85
TPE at time of writing: 85, would be 73rd and worst in class, 7th and worst among WRs
Stats in S29, None, Retired
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 76, 22 spot fall
Southie did not update past the middle of August. He since retired in November, recreated, retired again in June, and recreated again. He was most recently found complaining about Woke Tactics in the media thread turned Gong Show that was the Zamir reveal.
That's the end of round 7, but I do need to touch on one final player in the final round and a half that is left.
Round 8, Pick 109: The Orange County Otters select...King Tutankhamun, RB, Kansas City Coyotes. User: Waldo
TPE at time of draft: 96
TPE at time of writing: 212, 71st in the class, 11th and worst among RBs
Stats in S29, None, currently a Free Agent
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 95, 14 spot fall
King Tut is special among all the late round picks because he actually played in the ISFL for a bit. He was on the Hawks for a bit, and as such is I believe the lowest TPE player from S25 to play for an ISFL team
Now for some random comments:
Biggest steal of the draft is between Marlon Alexander, Jeeroy Lenkins, and Cmon Skiuuup. Skiuuup has the most TPE, but fell due to personal reasons, not earning ones. Alexander went a decent chunk later than the other two, but has the least TPE.
Biggest bust: Inarguably it's James Gath, who manages to bust in both the DSFL and ISFL draft.
Highest drafted DSFL player not to get drafted in the ISFL: Crozier McCoy, AKA Piratecaptaindom, at 23

User: JGuy

Stats in S29: None, Retired
DSFL Draft Position: Pick 66, 22 spot fall
Akerele never updated after the middle of August, before the draft, and formally retired in early November. He would then recreate in S29, getting even less TPE, and then retiring again in the middle of June.

TPE at time of writing: 102, would be 73rd and worst in class, 12th and worst among OLs

Ben Anabender was an extremely good earner, and DNeon was an extremely nice user in the Pythons Locker Room, but then he had to go inactive for real life reasons. He last updated in early September, and last visited the site in late November.
