(S30) PT 1 - Going International

The Honolulu Hahalua are sending line backer David on a cross seas trip to promote our beloved game of football. David Frank is the perfect choice, he doubles as a travel advisor on the side of his football career. When Australia reached out it was a no brainer. David Frank visited the country two off seasons ago and wrote an unsuccessful bid to try to get the Ultimus there. Although his bid was unsuccessful, he is still a major endorser of Austrailian exposure to football.
Once he arrived, he was able to work with local city officials to secure a workshop at Optus Stadium, located in Perth. This is a large stadium that has hosted many events from sports to music festivals. Ice Bear would be able to pull in some of the top area athletes from sports like rugby, soccer and lacrosse to act as make shift football player/coaches. Once he taught them the ropes, he would have these players run individual drill stations for a few days. At the end of the week, the coaches would then separate all of the workshop participants into small teams and then have them scrimmage. Due to the dangers presented with full contact, and also to lessen expenses, flag football was what the scrimmages were made into.

At the end of his trip, Ice Bear was left with a successful camp workshop and left wondering what could have been, had Perth been chosen to host the Ultimus.
