(S30) PT 1 - Going International

Okay well, it depends on where you consider the Berlin Fire Salamanders to be located. If they are in the US, i’d argue Highschaldi, who i believe is a native German, would go to Berlin, our namesake, and lead a program there. But okay, maybe that’s too easy, so let’s make it a little more difficult and eliminate both Berlin and US from the running for the program. From there, I think the best thing to do is send Marlon Brando to Italy, as that is where streetcar named desire is set (or crap wait maybe it’s Paris, but like i’m only realizing this after writing out this PT so like sorry about that). In addition, Marlon Brando played the Godfather, and the mafia is traditionally italian, so like that’s another connection. Alright, so what would the program be like? Well while there isn’t really football in Italy, there is rugby. That being said, the Italian rugby team is god awful, so maybe people are looking for a version of rugby that they can actually get into. that’s where football comes in. Football actually came from rugby originally, so this gives us an opportunity to present football as like evolved rugby. The program would be basically starting off with rugby, and explaining how football is better in every way, and how this can inspire italian sports outside of non-american football.
