(S30) PT 1 - Going International

As the only international team currently part of the ISFL, it has been Berlin's mission from day one to bring American football to the masses in Europe. While their first couple of seasons haven't been very successful, Berlin has recently found unprecedented success, and the team wished to augment this success by bringing the team to a more personal level with the fans. The Fire Salamanders sent several of their Season 28 draftees out to host a football camp, including converted receiver Troy Abed, DSFL Safety of the Year Jacob Raske, and soon-to-be franchise quarterback Dexter Zaylren for some simple passing drills.

So, on a small soccer pitch in Cologne, the three put on a clinic for all the spectators to see, and even brought in college and highschool players who wanted to learn. They had to go easy on them, of course, the difference between even good college athletes and professional football players is massive. Eventually the three would break up into offensive and defensive groups, with Zaylren and Abed working on route running while Raske worked on anticipation and techniques to keep up with receivers. Overall, it was a successful venture, with thousands of spectators and dozens of college athletes attending hoping to hone their skills. Perhaps in the future, the Fire Salamanders will expand these operations to other countries, but for now Germany alone will suffice.
