What would happen if San Jose just declines your desire? What leverage do you really have to pull this off? What precedent does this set for any other player? I mean do as you like, but if I were San Jose, I'd basically tell you to chill and play out your contract. You're a S1 player, you only have 1 year left on your rookie contract, that's what, another month in real time. After S3, you're a FA and you can go where you like. You being a Sabercat clearly hasn't stopped you being friends with them before, it really shouldn't going forward either.
