Miles Weperom was fortunate enough to have opportunities in athletics and academics. Coming out of the Silicon Valley area and both of his parents working in the technology industry, it's likely that Miles would have found a place in that industry if not for football. Cal Poly was a school in which he was very interested in their programs and research fields. There was a brief time where his inner circle believed he would forgo an opportunity in football and begin studying robotics, which is what he fell in love with at Cal Poly. He was so in love with robotics after his visit to Cal Poly that he convinced his high school to explore the possibility of adding a robotics program to their school, or to partner with a university. Miles had this idea to develop a convenience service, much like Shipt, that could deliver anything by use of drones. Once Miles ultimately decided to play football and enrolled it UCLA he went the cliche athlete route by selecting communications as his major. If anything were to disrupt his football career early we could see Miles continuing on using his communications degree, or there is a strong possibility he could return to school and follow his passion outside of football in the technology industry.
