The main reason I ended up playing football was my father. My entire life, he worked tirelessly, alongside my mother, to provide us with everything we needed. They never took time off, never took vacations, and worked every possible minute to give my sister and myself everything we could have ever asked for. We always had clean clothes, school supplies, and even a car once we each turned 16. Now, all of that work took a major toll on my father and he developed a bad back after years and years and years of hard work. But in high school, I realized I was an elite football player and started getting recruited by schools. It was then that I realized what I could do - I could continue to play football professionally and make enough money to provide a new home and comfortable life for both my father and mother in their retirement years. And that's what keeps me going every single day for the New York Silverbacks. I want to make sure I repay everything that they've done for me was worth it not just to make me a better person, but to make sure they know how much I understand and appreciate their sacrifices. With every single paycheck I get, I make sure my parents are taken care of and can live out their years in comfort and wanting for nothing. It's all for them!
