Football was always the only thing that made sense, the one constant that I had growing up. The path to the ISFL was inevitable. If I wouldn't have made it to the ISFL you would find me on the road fronting a band playing shows across the Country. Aside from football music was the only outlet and experience I had where I could truly express myself. When my football career began to take off a decision had to be made, Pursue a career in Football or continue playing music. The choice wasn't as simple as you might expect the freedom and rush that comes from playing a sold out show is a feeling that is hard to explain.
While playing "Rockstar" would have been a dream come true; My journey in the ISFL has been more than I ever could have asked for. Some people play their whole careers and never get a chance to experience a championship season like the one that I was a part of. Without that season and the connection to the Royals i never would have been able to realize another football related dream and that's becoming a General Manager. Sure there's a lot of decisions, choices and what ifs you could ask but even with the endless possibilities that could have been there's not a single regret for the choices made that let me to the ISFL.
